ANNOUNCEMENT!! We are so excited to invite you to ANNOUNCEMENT!!

We are so excited to invite you to our FREE Yoga and Meditation Workshop on Saturday, 11th June, from 10am to 5pm! It will be led by @tori_bate 🌟 

You don't need membership to join, you just need to be a UCL student and need to signup on our website:

1. Search uclyms.co.uk
2. Click on "Book Classes"
3. Scroll down and register for the "Yoga Workshop with Tori" 
4. Use the password: uclyms

You MUST sign-up inorder to be let in because there are limited spots available and names will be checked at the door.

Location:
Jeremy Bentham room, Wilkins building (Above the refectory canteen)

Multiple access points - best entrance is through the centre of the Wilkins building underneath the glass dome that looks up through to the Main Library. It’s directly straight in front of the dome through a short hallway with toilets on either side.

To Bring:
- yoga or gym mat MUST BRING ONE
- Gym kit (best to arrive in this)
- Comfy clothes to keep you warm (hoodie/ jogger/throw) 
- Cushion - we’ll be sat down a lot so make sure you’re comfy. 
- Any yoga props you have. 
- Water bottle 
- note pad and pen

Crisps will be provided but do bring other snacks and drinks!

11:30am. Yoga history and philosophy. 
12:30pm. Lunch. 
1:30pm. Anatomy. 
2pm. Concepts of yin.

3 steps to be sustainable in your yoga practice: 

1. Bring a reusable water bottle to practice. Here is a map of water fountains at UCL where you can fill up your bottle: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=17QbUB9hhin-2UHAqLUGqWRtlXss&ll=51.52402401260261%2C-0.1318600376052914&z=17.

2. Only buy a new yoga mat when it is absolutely necessary. If you need to buy a new one, invest in a good quality mat made with non-toxic, sustainable materials that is going to last a long time. We recommend the brand Yogamatters for an inexpensive, guilt-free mat. 

3. Reduce your plastic consumption. Bring a plastic-free snack to class, such as a piece of fruit or some nuts in a Tupperware. A banana is an ideal pre-(or post-) class snack that will provide energy to fuel your vinyasa flow.
